Valdo
Flumetsulam: N- (2,6-difluorophenyl) -5-methyl- (1,2,4) triazolo [1,5 a] pyrimidine-2-sulfonamide
A selective herbicide for the control of broad-leaved weeds that compete with the crops of soybeans, beans, consociated pastures of legumes and grasses, and sugar cane, indicated in this label.
It can be applied to the soil in: pre-plant anticipated, pre-plant incorporated, and pre-emergence. In consociated pastures, it is also active in post-emergent treatment. To achieve optimal control in soil treatments, it must present an adequate level of humidity that allows the germination of weeds and the absorption of the herbicide. Some weeds can emerge, but subsequent growth will be significantly affected, with a necrosis effect. When soil moisture is insufficient or adequate rainfall does not occur after application, some weeds will be observed. Once the optimum level of soil moisture is restored, weeds that begin to germinate thereafter will be controlled. In the case of post-emergent treatments, the weed has to be actively growing.
