Borneo^®

Borneo® is an acaricide with excellent action against mites of the genera Brevipalpus and Tetranychus in citrus, tomato and other crops. These pests are threats to citrus and tomato crops and are easy to recognize. In citrus they can cause yellow spots on the leaves, cortical lesions on the branches and necrotic spots on the fruits, while in tomato crops we find defoliation, yellowish areas and later necrosis. This can lead to reduced quality and yield.

Borneo® is highly effective because it has a prolonged residual effect and is highly selective, preserving beneficial natural enemies, acting mainly in the young phases of the target. Given its mechanism of action, the use of this tool becomes extremely important because it acts in an initial phase of the mites’ life cycle, “breaking” the evolution of the population from the beginning.  The acaricide has ovicidal, larvicidal and sterilizing action, which extends the versatility for use in any phase of crops, being recommended the Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
